Sonoran Sea Resort sits directly on Sandy Beach, the main resort corridor in Puerto Peñasco. Two oceanfront condominium buildings frame landscaped grounds, pools, palm trees, and wide views of the Sea of Cortez.
Unlike a traditional hotel, Sonoran Sea is made up of individually furnished vacation condos. Guests gain more living space, private balconies, kitchens, and washers and dryers, while still enjoying shared resort amenities and gated security.

Where is Sonoran Sea Resort located?+
Sonoran Sea Resort is directly on Sandy Beach, west of central Puerto Peñasco. The resort is close to Banditos, Chango’s, Garufa, other Sandy Beach resorts, and beach activities. Driving to the Malecón and Old Port generally takes about 7–10 minutes, depending on traffic.
Does Sonoran Sea Resort have ocean-view condos?+
The resort’s buildings face the Sea of Cortez and condos feature private balconies. The exact floor, orientation, balcony view, and possible obstructions should always be confirmed in the individual rental listing.
How many pools are at Sonoran Sea Resort?+
The resort has three oceanfront swimming pools, including family-oriented areas and an adults-only pool, plus two Jacuzzis. One pool is generally heated during cooler months, but heating schedules and availability can change.
Is Sonoran Sea an all-inclusive resort?+
No. Sonoran Sea is a condominium resort rather than an all-inclusive hotel. Condos include kitchens, and food and drinks are available through Ramon’s Restaurant, the swim-up bar, nearby restaurants, and local stores.
