Driving from Arizona
The usual route is:
Lukeville → Sonoyta → Highway 8 → Puerto Peñasco
Before leaving:
- Check border crossing times
- Bring the correct documents
- Get Mexican car insurance
- Check road and weather conditions
Return to Arizona
There may be more northbound traffic on Sunday, November 29.
Allow enough time to drive to Sonoyta and reach the Lukeville intersection.
Don't plan to leave so late that any delay could get you too close to the border closing time.
